The Character of Viren Sood played by Kinshuk Mahajan literally added life and spice to the dead Serial with low TRP’s.
But by September 2010 end some Promos of the Show came which featured Kinshuk Mahajan who had played the role of Ranvir in the Rajan Shahi Show Bidhaii which motivated me to start watching CCBM again and this time I was not disappointed. So I quit watching CCBM after 2-3 weeks as I found it boring and not worth watching. I was not seeing any sign of the girl gaining confidence or standing up for herself in the company of the guy who always dominated and treated her like a helpless doll and even called her Putul (which means doll in Bengali). The story showed the main female protagonist Nivedita Sharma (Neha Sargam) who is a shy girl with Crowd phobia hailing from a middle class family in Shimla falling in love with Siddharth Sood (Abhishek Tewari) who is her neighbor and childhood friend. But after watching a few episodes of the Serial, I was thoroughly disappointed because I felt there was nothing new in the story the way it was headed. Both these Serials where Rajan Shahi introduced newcomers attracted viewers and gained high TRP’s so I was sure that Chand Chupa Badal Mein too (CCBM) would be no exception. While Bidai dealt with the story of two sisters (one dark and the other fair) YRKKH is about love after marriage. Be the first to contribute! It looks like we don't have a Synopsis for this title yet. The shy Nivi blossoms into a confident woman with the help of Viren, meeting the manifold challenges of life with an unshakable optimism. Their lives take many more twists and turns from there. When Nivi discovers Viren's real intentions she transforms him and brings him closer to his family. However, gradually both Nivi and Viren start caring for each other. Later, it is revealed that Viren has married Nivi to take revenge against Siddharth and his family. Nivi ends up marrying Siddharth's cousin Viren. Under pressure from his family, and hurt by Nivi's rejection, Siddharth gets married to Divya. But on discovering that her cousin Divya also loves Siddharth, Nivi unhesitatingly sacrifices her own love by pretending that she is indifferent to him. Nivedita meets her childhood friend Siddharth Sood after many years and the two fall in love with each other. Since then, she has been living with her grandmother, father and younger brother. She lost her mother when she was a little girl. She is kind, sweet, responsible, but also nervous and reserved. Set in the beautiful hill town of Simla, Chaand Chupa Badal Mein narrates the tale of a middle-class girl Nivedita Sharma a.k.a. But unhesitatingly sacrifices her own love by pretending that she is indifferent to him.
